From Client to Client Manager: A Unique Perspective

Sometimes the best stories come to us in our dreams. This one did.

I recently woke up with a clear thought in my head: “From client to Client Manager. That’s a story worth telling.” And it is. That journey has given me the perspective I couldn’t have gained any other way. It shapes how I show up for my clients every single day.

Before joining the incredible team at TwoScore, I was a longtime client. At the time, I served as Vice President of Marketing at a $285 million credit union in Jacksonville, Florida. I was on the other side of the emails, the strategy calls, the campaign planning sessions.

When I first stepped into the marketing role at my credit union after being a Branch Manager there for years, I was juggling a million priorities. TwoScore’s work inspired me to adopt a strategic mindset and marketing approach like theirs. Their example motivated me to grow into a marketer who could make a meaningful impact, even with limited time and resources.

What stood out to me about TwoScore back then was'n’t just their talent. It was their heart. They didn’t show up with cookie-cutter solutions. They listened. They asked the right questions. In many ways, TwoScore inspired me and shaped me into the marketer I am today. Their passion for credit unions and hands-on partnership deepened my understanding and sharpened my skills as I grew from a Marketing Manager into my last role as Vice President of Marketing.

When the opportunity came to join the team, it felt like a full-circle moment. I knew what it was like to be in our clients’ shoes, and I understood how much it meant to have a strategic partner who cared just as much as I did.

So, I took the leap. Not away from the credit union movement, but deeper into it. At TwoScore, I get to help dozens of credit unions grow, connect, and thrive in the same way I once hoped for when I was on the client side.

Today, as a Client Marketing Manager, I bring that lived experience into every conversation. I remember the pressures. The deadlines. The internal teams to manage. The big goals and small budgets. I also know the weight of meeting ambitious goals while navigating the expectations of boards and stakeholders. Balancing those demands isn’t easy, and it requires clear communication, strategic thinking, and resilience.

I don’t see myself as just a service provider. I see myself as a former peer turned strategic partner, someone who understands the nuances, the mission, and the heart behind every campaign. I also know that no two credit unions are the same. That’s why everything we create is tailored, intentional, and aligned with the credit union’s voice and vision.
